Dairy classes and handlers impress at Tullamore Show

**Tullamore, [Date]** – The dairy section at this year's Tullamore Show was a dazzling display of bovine beauty and expert handling. The competition was fierce, with top-quality animals from various breeds battling it out for coveted prizes.

A total of €21,500 in prize money was up for grabs, attracting some of the country's finest dairy herds. The Holstein Friesian, Jersey, and Dairy Shorthorn breeds were showcased, each category drawing enthusiastic crowds.

The Holstein Friesian class was particularly impressive, with Gerrit Van Der Kolk, a renowned Dutch breeder, serving as the esteemed judge. His expert eye assessed the animals' conformation, udder quality, and overall dairy type.

Beyond the animals themselves, the skill and dedication of the handlers were evident. Their ability to present their cattle in the best possible light added to the overall spectacle. The young handlers, in particular, showcased exceptional talent, demonstrating the future of the dairy industry is in capable hands.

The show's dairy section was a resounding success, leaving attendees and competitors alike inspired and eager for next year's event.
